PAUL M. BIKO - PRINCIPAL

With more than 33 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mr. Biko has been instrumental in building three life insurance companies: United Republic Life Insurance Company, United Sun Life Insurance Company and Americana Life Insurance Company. 

 

Mr. Biko oversaw the sales, recruiting and development systems for each of these companies as well as a number of others.  He was Chairman/CEO of United Republic Investment Company and Universal Investment Company.  Mr. Biko has been one of the leading players in the life settlement industry since the late 1990’s and is considered one of the market pioneers.

 

He currently serves as the managing director for Strategic Market Resources, LLC and its co-owned affiliates.  With Mr. Biko’s vast experience in the life insurance, investment and life settlement industries, he is instrumental in the development, sales and management of the many solutions SMR provides for the investment community.

 

 

ROBERT VOWLER - PRINCIPAL, VOWLER ADVISORY, LLC

Mr. Vowler was the CEO of Hershey Trust Company, where he oversaw more than $10 billion in assets – including the $8 billion charitable Hershey Trust and a Fortune 500 company, The Hershey Company – for 12 years.

 

He led efforts, such as unprecedented growth for the trust, portfolio diversification and change in a strategic direction, during his tenure.  Mr. Vowler achieved this while serving on the Boards of Hershey Trust, Milton Hershey School, Hershey Entertainment and Resorts, and the M.S. Hershey Foundation.  For 10 years, prior to being president and CEO, Mr. Vowler was the chief financial officer, treasurer and secretary for Hershey Trust Company.

 

With more than 30 years of experience in managing significant assets, Mr. Vowler, a Certified Public Accountant, provides the experience necessary to provide our investors with reliable portfolio/cash management.
